I thought about doing a memorial diamond for my dog for a long time, but was always stopped by the insane prices for smaller diamonds that other companies quoted.

Everything about this process was amazing. I lost my dog to cancer but gene I had found out he had it I collected his fur and sent it in. He passed away 2 1/2 months after the process began.

I did a lot of research since I was considering a memorial diamond and by chance, Ossu came up. The more I learned the company, the more it resonated with what I wanted. A diamond that had the hue of the original carbon content. The other companies were only offering colored diamonds which didn't seem natural to me and also at two times the cost.

I love that you can use both fur and ashes and at the time, the selection was smaller but the jewelry options were dainty and delicate as I prefer that look.

I wanted to support a Canadian owned business and what made it even better for me was that I was also supporting an AAPI business.If you were ever considering a memorial diamond - do it and choose Ossu. You won't regret it.

I rarely leave reviews, but Ossu deserves one. I would leave six stars if I could. From the beginning Hinly and the Ossu team showed a caring and thoughtful approach, at a time that can be very emotional for pet owners. Throughout the process, I was kept informed, sent pictures and guided on next steps. The initial package and final presentation were both beautiful, and were a reflection the care Ossu showed from start to finish.

And our diamond? It’s more perfect than I imagined, uniquely our princess (we even got a princess cut!), and something I’ll treasure forever.
