Welcome Kit Tutorial

Not sure how to submit your beloved's ashes or hair? Simply follow the steps outlined in the video below. If you still have questions at all, please don't hesitate to contact us at hello@ossudiamonds.com.

"How Do I Send It Back?"

Don't fret! We've made it as simple as possible to get your beloved's sample to us.

I'm shipping from...

CANADA

As a Canadian customer, your Welcome Kit comes with a prepaid return label (you should be able to find this on the bottom of your box).

All you have to do is drop it off at the nearest post office of the specific courier printed on the label.

UNITED STATES

You’ll need to send your beloved's sample to us through USPS Priority Mail Express International, using the USPS-produced cremated remains packaging, also called BOX-CRE. We've also had this package sent to you separately, free of charge.

Once you're ready, place your Welcome Kit inside the USPS box.

We recommend including a copy of your beloved's cremation or death certificate in the box, along with your shipping label.

On the customs form, please state “cremated remains.”

Common Questions

Why might I have more than one container?

Sometimes, we have customers who want multiple diamonds for multiple loved ones. Sometimes, we have customers who want to combine different ashes or hair samples. We provide additional containers and/or materials when needed.

Should I return the spatula?

You are welcome to keep it. However, as we take sustainability seriously, we would appreciate if you sent back the spatula as well (no need to clean it, we can handle that!) for us to sterilize and reuse for other customers without creating more waste for our planet.

What happens next?

If you've already finalized your diamond, we will begin the creation process as soon as we've confirmed receipt of your Welcome Kit back.

If you haven't yet, then we'll work together to select and finalize your diamond. Once final payment is confirmed, we'll begin creation.

Do I have to pay for shipping?

For Canadian customers, no. As your return label is prepaid for, as long as you do so within a reasonable time frame, you can send back your beloved's sample free of charge.

If you're outside Canada, however, you may have to pay a small delivery fee (depending on where you're shipping from).
